A member asked:

I used metformin for 4 months and got pregnant (in 2011) :-) will i need to go straight back on it when starting to try for baby number 2?

Metformin/pregnancy: I am assuming that you were put on metformin because you were diagnosed with pcos and having trouble with getting pregnant. I think the decision to go back on metformin depends on how long you have to wait to get pregnant. Metformin use in patients with pcos can improve fertility and will probably help you get pregnant sooner vs trying without metformin. Hope this helps.
