Yes and...: Most dialyzed patients are still making urine but with highly variable volume although less than it used to be. So, it's not uncommon for them to void 0-4 times in 24 hrs. These patients just simply lost their kidney function to handle the balance of fluid, electrolye, etc. In fact, occasionally, few still pee as often as the healthy person due to so-call high output renal failure.
