Dry eyes: When you are tired, you tend to blink less, especially if staring at a computer or the t.V. Try using artificial tears before you get tired, and after. This should help.Ey.

Refraction lubricate: First make sure that you have the proper refraction. At age 45, patients may start to develop presbyopia, the need for glasses to focus close-up. When you use you are tired your blink rate will be reduced. This will contribute to dry eye. If your eyes feel scratchy i would suggest a lubricating drop prior reading or watching tv. And get some sleep.
