It's not normal.: More information will be needed before i could give you a more complete answer. For instance did it begin right after the sphincterotomy or did it develop some time later? I have never heard of "pressure and" and extremely painful urgency him a result of a sphincterotomy. You really need to be seen by the surgeon who did the operation. Good luck.
