Maybe: The size of the mole will make a big difference in how the surgery is done. If the mole is flat it can sometimes be removed with a laser without scarring. If it is elevated and excision would have to be done. Really good surgeons could remove it and move tissue or flap to keep the lip looking normal. The treatment with a fraxel co2 laser could get rid of most of the scarring. Expensive.

Please: Please seek 2nd or even 3rd opinion fro qualified Plastic (not Cosmetic) surgical Specialist. There are many treatment modalities available. Evaluate the choices available. Look for the best treatment plan, not necessarily the bargain variety.
