By itself: A high (how high) dheas level may mean nothing at all. I don't know why the level would have been drawn in the first place. It can be significantly (not slightly) elevated in a variety of ovarian or adrenal problems, including pcos. It is also stimulated by certain medications. As a solitary finding without other clinical information, however, it has no value. Talk w/the doctor who ordered it, .
