Strept: It is possible to get strept through any mucous membrane. Check with your doctor if you have a sore throat, fever over 101, or redness or drainage from your eyes.

Not really: The bacteria that causes strep throat does not attack the eye that frequently. In the eye however, the symptom will be a 'pink eye' that hurts.

No : Usually not. Look for redness pain watering blurriness of vision. Watering and redness will be early symptoms.
