My son has strep and he coughed and a little spit got in my eyes. can i get strep in my eye. what are the symptoms that i should look out for.

Strept: It is possible to get strept through any mucous membrane. Check with your doctor if you have a sore throat, fever over 101, or redness or drainage from your eyes.

Not really: The bacteria that causes strep throat does not attack the eye that frequently. In the eye however, the symptom will be a 'pink eye' that hurts.
