Tough: The unfortunate patient may have confusion, depression, and the wild choreic movements. Risk of injury is a constant, and multiple medications may only provide minimal help. Some home supervision and essential services will be needed. Best to avoid stairs, have available grab bars, have a consistent stereotyped schedule. The specialty associations can help. Contact the national huntington's.
