Autosomal dominant: Huntington disease is an autosomal dominant disease. This means that if a parent has the disease, every child has a 50% chance of inheriting the disease. There is also anticipation with this disease. The affected dna is a trinucleotide repeat sequence. As the sequence increases, the age of onset of the disease is younger.
