Wait: Depo injections will really put your hormones out of whack for a while. You should start menstruating normally within 6 months of stoping. If you are still having problems you need to see an ob/gyn to have a hormone analysis.

DepoProvera: Depoprovera can have a long effect on your ovulation and periods. It may take up to 9-12 months after your last depoprovera shot to resume normal cycling. There is no easy way to jump start this. Your best bet is to be patient and wait. If you had normal periods before Depo-Provera they will return -usually at about 4-6 months after your last shot.
