A member asked:

I have noticed that since i was a teenager (31 now) one eye seems to be more open than the other, especially when smiling. is this common?

Droopy lid: Drooping of the lids is referred to as ptosis. It is not uncommon to have one eye droopier than the other. Most people have asymmetry in that if you split the face in half and put a mirror to reflect you would see a different person on the right vs the left side.
