You need to see family doctor: The emergency room is for emergencies. What you have is anxiety. That is not to say that you may not have a problem. You can and should see your family doctor asap so that they can work you up properly. The emergency room doctor can do many things, but you would still need to see a primary doctor and possibly a specialist if deemed necessary.

See your doctor: Call your pronary care doctor to discuss your symptoms. Your doctor can either have you come in for an appointment or have you go to the er. Either way, either your doctor or the er doctor will examine you and determine if a ct scan or MRI is needed.
