Very uncommon in men: Urologists call it balanitis xerotica obliterans. It is like leathery white skin which does not stretch. Most commonly affects foreskin ; thus seen mostly in uncircumcised men ; strong indication for circumcision. Occasioanlly affects penile glans, especally aound urethral meatus causing meatal stenosis. Needs 2B excised when causing small contracted opening or constricting glanular urethra.
