What would cause dissolvable stitches not to dissolve and still come up out of the scars from two different operations?

Possibly: It could be possible that those are not really dissolvable sutures. The other possibility is that your body may not be accepting or decomposing these stitches as expected. I would get a check if this is what's happening to you.
