Anyone can improve: The brain's capacity to grow and change has always been underrated. Helen keller was born deaf and blind- i doubt that your tbi is comparable to that. Some suggestions: Although you will continue to improve up to 18-24 months after original injury, your coping and emotional state can be improved by speech therapy or cognitive behavioral therapy. On occasion, drugs used for alzheimer's disease can be useful, especially galantamine, (galantamine hydrobromide) and focus can be improved with ritalin.
