Prodromal labor: Like a conductor at the symphony, the uterine contractions "practice" at longer time intervals until the "concert" actually begins. Prodromal(early) labor will eventually shorten the contractions to every 3 to 4 minutes apart and the "real symphoney" will begin. So, wait it out for now.
