I had light bleeding a week ago and am experiencing cramps again. im not supposed to start my period until the 26th. any ideas as to what's going on?

Variable: Certainly, if pregnancy is a possibility, run a pregnancy test. Sometimes irregular bleeding can occur, with any of the hormonal contraception use. Sometimes, ovarian cysts can cause similar problems. If you are each end of the reproductive age range, this can happen also. Lastly, there may be other hormonal issue or an anatomic problem, such as a cervical or a uterine polyp.
