Mouth viruses: There are no specific mouth viruses. Usually those are viruses that affect not just the mouth but other organs/tissues but they have tropism (propensity) to affect mouth more so than others. Coxsackie virus is one of them causing hand, foot, ; mouth disease but there are many others, too.

Numerous: Coxsackie virus is a pretty common one. Herpes is another. Adenovirus is a more aggressive virus that can infect the oral region and cause severe sore throat and fevers. Hpv is also reported to be able to infect oral region.
