Can't prevent moles: Moles are benign growths of melanocytes (pigment cells) in your skin. Tendency to get these is somewhat genetic, but everyone has them to some degree....you can't prevent them.

Sun protection: People with less sun exposure develop fewer moles. This is probably the only thing you could do to get fewer moles.
