How to give albuterol to a toddler who is resistant?

Albuterol: there are different forms of albuterol, albuterol inhalers, albuterol solution through the nebulizer. Each forma has pros and cons, Liquid albuterol can be given, but has more side effects (racing heart, excitability) but using a spacer with pediatric mask may be the fastest and very effective

Try neb or spacer: How old is this toddler? There is more and more research showing administering albuterol with a spacer to a toddler is more effective than using a nebulizer. I toddler that is crying is less likely to inhale nebulized albuterol effectively and given it takes 5-10 minutes to administer it may be actually easier to use the appropriate spacer.
