How to tell my sister i don't think she's bipolar?

What to say: If she has been diagnosed and treated for bipolar disorder consider sharing your thoughts with her and inquire about accompanying her to her next doctor. Likely her doctor would appreciate the outside perspective about your sisters mental health.

With words: If you feel the need to say something to your sister, words will convey the message. When diagnosing ongoing problems, psychiatrists usually appreciate the additional perspectives of family and close friends because they provide longitudinal history. If a non-psychiatrist has offered this diagnosis, you could suggest she get a second opinion from a psychiatrist.
