A member asked:

How could omega 3 help diabetes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It can't: It has no value in the treatment of diabetes. The value is that many people with diabetes have elevated triglycerides. Omega 3s may help this issue. There is some study data which may indicate that it may reduce the risk of developing diabetes but not in treating it.
