Blood pressure: Besides medication, other methods to lower blood pressure would include weight reduction, limiting salt intake, quitting smoking, exercise, possibly taking garlic, and 30 min per day of soft soothing music has been shown to have long term benefit. Although any or all of these methods may not be enough to lower your blood pressure to an acceptable level, they may lessen the amount of meds needed.
