Get professional hel: You did not state your age. If you are a minor please contact a licensed doctor to help. Your mother needs professional help. The disease varies in severity in time. Most locations have some type of community health center where you can take your mother. A professional would be able to asses her ability to function and there are medications that help the condition. You may want to see a counselor.

There are two: important people here- one is you and the other is your mother. Both of you have needs. You mother will need support and to be working with a good psychiatrist and psychologist. It will be important for you to learn as much as possible about schizophrenia. Consider joining a local or online support group.
