Try ginger: Sometimes old fashioned ideas actually help- flat ginger ale, candied ginger, or ginger tea may help if nausea isn't too bad. Keeping fluids down is easier if you dilute strong tasting fluids like sports drinks with water and drink only a few sips at a time. Don't even try solid food until you can keep liquids down and try something easy like crackers to start with.
