See doctor: There are many causes of headache. Onset of headaches at age 47 obviates an evaluation, which should include a fundoscopic exam, careful musculoiskeletal exam, examination of the facial sinuses, a check for glaucoma in some cases and a good neuro exam. Often a ct scan of the head is obtained depending on the current signs and symptoms. Best of luck.
