Race day? : Most 1/2 and full marathons begin am or late am. My plan was to carbo load the 2 or 3 days prior to the run and on ' game day' eat a bagel( no butter/ cream cheese )and gator aid for breakfast and that's it.I ran plenty distant races w/ this strategy. Really,your training before the race is most important.Just don't eat more than above( or similar) and keep up your fluid intake during the race! GL
