Lice prevention: Lice infestation can be minimized by wearing the hair tied in a bun or covering the head with a scarf or bandana. Never share combs, hats, brushes or hairclips with others. I have seen shampoos and conditioners with tea tree oil in them, which claim to discourage lice from taking up residence on you.
