How can i remove headlice infestation?

Lice treatment: Over the counter products for lice treatments are available, but can be toxic. Some families have been successful smothering the lice with Cetaphil cleanser applied to dried hair, then dried with a hair dryer and washed the next day. Reinfestation will occur if nits are not completely removed and bedding/clothing/brushes are not treated.
