Maid of honor: Congratulations. You could be the maid of honor but check with your own doctor first

Ask your OB: From the pediatric standpoint, the important thing is to avoid public contact with your new born baby. Being at a large social event will make that difficult, and you are unlikely to want to leave your baby behind. An infant in the first 2 months should have limited social contact to decrease the risk of infection. When people do visit, make sure they wash their hands. Avoid contact with kids.
