Complete albinos: Albinism comes in two major forms. The complete form (pale skin, white hair, etc.) has no pigment on the back of the iris and light reflected off the retina back to the view takes on a pink glow as it is tinted by the red blood in the vessels. Partial and ocular albinos have defective but not absent pigment and their iris appears greyish but not pink.
