Dr. Mark Sibley answered

Albino's vision: Patient's that inherit the Albino gene(s) have a lack of pigment in their body. The eyes need pigment to function properly. The lack of pigment may be most noticeable and 1st identified with an eye exam. The macula is responsible for the clear central vision and for the fixation on the image part of the retina. That is poorly developed and the macula sees with poor details and poor resolution.
