A member asked:

Is it normal for one leg to be 1" - 1.5" longer than the other? and should i see a doctor about it?

Dr. Paul Baez answered

See your doctor: Leg length discrepancy should be evaluated by your doctor. If one leg is longer than the other, it can lead to hip or back pain due to an uneven gait. An orthotic shoe insert may help. In other cases, surgical correction may be needed. Have your doctor evaluate you and determine the best course of action.
