Possible: Pancreatitis is a clinical diagnosis, which usually consists of a characteristic abdominal pain in the upper abdomen, radiated straight to your back. Blood test usually are abnormal (lipase and amylase), and ct scan may or may not show inflammation. Endoscopy may be done to determine if you have a gastric ulcer causing the pain, which usually is in the same location as the pancreas pain.
