Sweet taste: Causes: Infected gums (gingivitis or periodontitis), decayed (abscessed) tooth/teeth, diabetes or other systemic disorder, neurological lesion or malfunction, recent change in meds/OTC's/supplements, infected tonsils/adenoids, food allergy, etc. you will have to see BOTH your General Dentist and your General Physician to start the diagnostic process.
