Depends: This depends on how much you drink and the period of time over which you drink it; also, it correlates with sex (males metabolize better than females); how much you've eaten; food delays the absorption of alcohol; it depends on your tolerance: if you drink regularly in a moderate fashion, you will metabolize alcohol more efficiently;.

Alcohol in body: It depends on genetic predisposition. Some people has enormous amount of enzymes to digest alcohol rapidly and not get drunk with +++ beers while other cannot tolerate more than 2B due to lack of that enzyme, leading to very slow elimination of alcohol from the body. Women have half of men's enzyme to digest alcohol.

1 oz /hr: The average-size body breaks down slightly more than an oz of alcohol per hour on the average with some variations. Women should use the 1/2 oz thumb of rule.

It depends: it depends on how fast your body metabolizes it and how much you have ingested. usually men metabolize it faster than woman.
It usually takes 1-2 hours for each drink to get metabolized.

Alcohol: Alcohol is metabolized at 20 mg per deciliter per hour. Legal intoxication is 80 mg/dl. So it would take about 4 hours to get the alcohol out of your system.

Does alcohol make cocaine stay in your system longer?

Dangerous combo.: Combining alcohol with Cocaine creates cocaethylene which adds further to the effects of either drug alone. Sometimes what is done to your brain is more relevant than how long the drug stays in your system. Be warned this is dangerous. Be safe.

Rule of thumb: This is a surprisingly complicated question, as it turns out, in terms of physiology. To make a long story short, the rule of thumb is that it takes about one hour for the average person to clear one "standard drink" (about 1/2 an ounce of ethanol). This equates to 12 ounces of beer (3.2%), 5 ounces of wine and 1.5 ounces of whiskey.
