High sgpt: If all your other liver enzymes are normal and there is no evidence of hepatitis a, b, or c and if a liver ultrasound is ok, the first thing i would think about is alcohol excess. I also would avoid taking any herbs or unusual "nutritional "supplements. Have your liver enzymes checked again after abstaining from alcohol for a few weeks. Your physician will advise you.
