A member asked:

Any way to regulate my menstrual cycle without birth control? its 45 days- 3 months sometimes

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sort of: When you don't get your period it is because you are not ovulating and not making progesterone. You could periodically (every month or two) take progesterone, even natural progesterone, for 10 to 14 days which will induce your period. Of course if you have the need for contraception, the birth control pill is usually a better choice. For more information www.Askyourgynecologist.Org.
