Expected: If sex was particularly rough, it explains the bleeding. If the bleeding does not stop, or if you start soaking a pad in an hour, go to the emergency department or see a doctor, you may need stitches. Be careful. Good luck.

May be an STD ( STI): Sometimes bleeding after sex can mean you have an infection of the cervix. Chlamydia and other sexually transmitted infections like trich, can make the cervix friable ( easy to bleed ). Please get checked for stds if you haven't yet.
