Probably not: Sometimes the pressure can be normal, but somtimes it is a sign of miscarriage. Are you cramping a lot? Any discharge? This is not normal and you should call your ob.

Premature labor: I assume that if you are aware that your cervix has been thinning is because you have already been checked.No, it is not normal to have these symptoms at 21 wks of gestation. Usually this could be associated with premature labor. Rest and observation is usually recommended. If your doctor is aware please follow his/her instructions as given. If you are having new symptoms call them asap or go to ed.
