What can cause a slight decrease in hgb and rbc count?

Many things: Too many things to list! please note that it can also be normal to have a small decrease in hemoglobin and red blood cell count. To give a proper answer, one would need to look through all blood work and medication lists.

Wondering what might be wrong: becoming more & more anemic (hct 30; hgb 8.0; RBC 2.9, ESR 91; platelets 485k; serum protein electrophoresis showed a slight decrease in albumin.
My RBC and hgb is low, while my MCV and MCH is high. Also my lymphocyte is 47, atypical lymphocyte is 5, and eosinophil is 5. What causes this?
Low rbc, low hgb, high mcv, normal iron & B12 levels. What is the cause of anemia?
