Allergic rhinnitis: Zyrtec is antihistamine which helps decrease your immune response to allergens, Mucinex (guaifenesin) thins mucus and d(the decongestant) reduces swelling in nasal passages. These products should work synergistically to help with allergy symptoms. Saline nasal spray or gentile nasal irrigation may also help. Talk to primary care provider if you would like to learn more treatment options

Should be fine: Muncinex-d is a mucus thinner combined with a decongestant. Zyrtec (cetirizine) is an antihistamine. Both medicates should be ok to take and are often prescribed together for diagnoses like sinusitis and allergic rhinitis with congestion.
