Get slight blurry vision in eyes when waking in morning. after few rubs and blinks it becomes normal. why does this happen?

Dried eye fluid: Could be that you inadvertently sleep with your eyes slightly open, causing fluid to dry. A few rubs and away it goes. I assume no further symptoms throughout the day, such as eye discharge, loss of vision, redness in the eye, etc? If those occur, then see a dr. To be evaluated for conjunctivitis. Sounds like it only occurs in the morning and can go away.
