Be patient...: In general, scars (burn or other injury) can take upwards of one year to mature to their final result. They can become pink at first, then fade to the surrounding skin color. Sometimes, silicone sheeting or pads can help - but these are difficult to use on the face. There are silicone-based ointments, but they are less effective. Sun protection is a must. Be patient for now and use cover makeup.
