How is bleeding controlled in a endoscopy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hemostasis...: ...(control of bleeding) can be endoscopically managed by (in no particular order of importance): ligation, injection of sclerosants, removal of a hemorrhaging lesion, cauterization, tamponade, apc (argon plasma coagulation), topical formalin, spray application of glues, many other techniques. Your endoscopist will know which technique to employ and in what setting(s).
