Yes: Not an overdose at all, in fact many prenatal vits contain 800 mcg. Folic acid is non-toxic at any dose. However, 1/3 to 1/2 of people have difficulty converting Folic Acid to the active form, l-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (l-5-mtfh) so to be safe you might want to take the l-5-mthf form in future pregnancies. Folate (folic acid) is most important the first few weeks of pregnancy when the neural tube is forming.
