A member asked:

Why does my 17 month old have excess snot & boogers. it's been going on for two months. we do not have any pets.

Air quality/germs: More kid boogers are related to irritants and random infections than allergies. Dust, cleaning fumes, smoke, burning candles, cooking odors, plug ins, perfume, hair spray, etc all can lead to chronic drainage in kids. They are also expected to get 5-7 uri's/yr to the age of 5.Sometimes just removing some of the odor producing agents in your home will reduce this.
