Endocarditis: This sounds as if bacteria entered your bloodstream from the abscess and created an infection on the interior lining of the heart (endocarditis). The only potential solutions are to have the abscesses cleared by a dentist or oral surgeon and the endocarditis treated appropriately. Try dr. Michael gelfand in memphis for a really great infectious diseases expert.

Don't understand: If you had dental infections did you not seek treatment to prevent infection from spreading to other organs? You need a Dentist and a Cardiologist to work in tandem to help you. And you will have to follow their recommendations to the letter.

Risks of abscesses: It would seem to me that leaving abscessed teeth in while having cardiac issues could only exacerbate the problems. Being on antibiotics for this long is also no bueno. The abscesses will not directly cause a murmur but chronic inflammation or SBE can cause cardiac problems. See a University Oral surgeon for consult asap

Help yourself: You must take better care of yourself. Help must begin with your own willingness to care, seek proper medical treatment and follow advice and instructions. A teaching hospital with a dental department should be able to provide you with excellent medical and dental care.

Get treatment: Walking around for 15 years with many abscessed teeth is not a good way to live your life. I encourage you to seek care immediately. If you are without insurance or the financial means to pay for all your care, try the local dental schools in your area. Not only are you probably going to lose many teeth at a young age you are tempting fate with your avoidance of definitive care. Please seek help!
