A member asked:

Is it ok to uses pulmocort in a nebulizer that expired a little over a year ago?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably: The expiration dates on many medications are for peak effectiveness. It would not likely be harmful to use expired Pulmicort but is certainly less potent and may not control your symptoms as well. Check the product's packaging , appearance/color, odor and texture. If you are suspicious that it has "spoiled"...Don't use it!
