Possible Taper: I'm guessing that you take xanax (alprazolam) for anxiety. If you are only taking it once a day, withdrawal is unlikely given it's effects are a short couple hours. If you are taking it more than 2 x's a day then you may be having wd sx's.Generally a taper is by 0.25 to 0.5 mg a day for 1-2 weeks, then lower by the same amt every 1-2weeks until off the xanax (alprazolam). Please talk to your practioner for other options.
